Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. The last year of her tenure she worked as a lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
